John Amole, Sr

CUYAHOGA FALLS - John R. Amole Sr., 74, passed away May 18, 2014. He was born in Chillicothe, OH on March 30, 1940, graduating from Chillicothe High School in 1958. He resided in Chillicothe for 42 years before moving to Cuyahoga Falls, OH in 1982. John worked for PPG Industries in Circleville, OH, before retiring from Goodyear/Versico Roofing in Akron in 2000. He was a member of Lodge #309 F&AM, and a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Chillicothe. John loved hiking, woodworking, traveling and numerous other hobbies.

Preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Sude-Maulene Amole; first wife, Joyce J. Amole-Ford; grandson, Zachary Amole; He is survived by his wife, Janna; children, Teri (Dave) Pack, John R. Amole Jr., Jerry (Dannielle) Amole; grandchildren, Anya (Josh) Miller, Ryan (April) Notestone, John G. (Kelsey) Amole, Dylan Amole, Jed Amole and Carter Amole; great-grandchildren, Jazlynn Miller, Mitchell Amole and Kenna Amole; step-mother, Patricia Amole; sister, Sharon (Don) Herron; mother-in-law Anna McMillin; daughter-in-law, Joan Amole; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place, friends may call 1 hour prior to a 6PM memorial service on Tuesday May 27th, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Friends may also call 2 hours prior to a 6PM memorial service on Thursday May 29, 2014 at the Ware Funeral Home 121 W. 2nd St. Chillicothe, OH, 45601. Both services will be conducted by Rev.
