John Everett Dinsmore, 84, passed away September 29, 2004.
Mr. Dinsmore was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He has resided in Stow the past 12 years after living in Cuyahoga Falls. He was employed as an electrical engineer for Ohio Edison, was a member of the American Legion in Columbus and enjoyed woodworking.
Preceded in death by his first wife Verna and sister Betty Scott, he is survived by his wife Dorothy; children Cheri (Doug) Shaw of NH, Debbie (David) Reynolds of Atlanta, GA, Marsha (John) Zorn of TX, and Karl (Susan) Garman of Akron; grandchildren, Holly Shaw, Stephen Shaw, Erin Reynolds, John Reynolds, Lauren Garmen, Merideth Garman, Jeffrey Zorn, Stephanie Zorn and brother-in-law Marion Scott.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, Rev. Robert Linsz officiating. Interment Willis Cemetery. The Family suggests memorials to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333 or St. Luke's Church, 2121 6th St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221 in his memory.
