John Donitzen

ROOTSTOWN -John J. Donitzen, 75, died unexpectedly December 10, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Donitzen was born in Pennsylvania and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 30 years, later in Ravenna and most recently in Roostsown. He retired in 2006 having worked as a machinist for Automated Packageing Systems for 39 A½ years and was a member of the House of the Lord Church. He was a member of FOE and LOOM in both Cuyahoga Falls and Ravenna.

Preceded in death by his step-son, Michael Aguilar, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Eva; children, Sandy Grabowski, Johnny Donitzen Jr, Ronnie Donitzen, Carolyn Eierman and Jo Anna Etz and her fiancAC.e Donn Bowman; step-children, Chris Aguilar (Carol), Anita Gulyas (Imre) and Julie Bauer (Roger) many grandchildren, step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews and his only remaining brother, Joe Donitzen (Marsha).

The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St,. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, December. 15. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to House of the Lord Church, 1650 Diagonal Road, Akron, OH 44320 or St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
