CUYAHOGA FALLS - John C. Eagleson, 85, passed away August 13, 2010.
Mr. Eagleson was born in Youngstown, Ohio and had resided in the Tallmadge and Cuyahoga Falls area most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II, worked for Esterle Mold and Machine Company and was a member of American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Grant); sons, Terry and Kenny; parents, and brother, William "Bill" Eagleson, he is survived by his only son, Roger and daughter-in-law Rochelle Barbieri, both of Cuyahoga Falls
He leaves behind his grandchildren, Ken, Jr., Don, Roger, II., Ashley, Keith and Christine. He also leaves behind his brother James (Ethel) Eagleson of Atwater; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn "Gwen", his niece Janet and nephews Raymond (Debbie) and Michael (Tracy) and a host of other family.
There will be no calling hours. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
