John Griffiths Jr

CUYAHOGA FALLS - John P. Griffiths Jr., 90, passed away March 4, 2015. He was born in Shawnee Perry ,OH and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 66 years. John served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, going on to to retire from Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. John enjoyed hiking and spending time with his friends and family.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Jean Morrow; and sister, Mary Ann Nottengle; he is survived by his wife, Bernadette of 66 years; children,Shirley (Gary) Willgues, Sheila (Dave) Graham, Helen( Scott) Scharnott, Janice (Ed) Kictarek and Ronald (Sandra) Griffiths: son-in-law, Pat Morrow; grandchildren,Sean Willgues, Corey Graham, Jacob Griffiths, Alexander Griffiths, Gabrielle Griffiths, Shawn Morrow ,Justine Pyles and Melanie Yusko; great grandchildren ,Kelsy Graham, Sebastian Graham, Keona Willgues, Kai Willgues, and Vincent Yusko; brother, Robert Griffiths.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Thursday, March 12 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH,44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 13 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223.
