John Jarvis

CUYAHOGA FALLS -John M. Jarvis, 80, died February 29, 2008. Mr. Jarvis was born in Jarvisville, WV and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He retired in 1987 as a crane operator for Ford Motor Co. Walton Hills Plant with 32 years service, was a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Army 101st Airborne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wylodean V. and is survived by his sons, John Jr. of Akron and David (Julie) of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Doneta Force of Cuyahoga Falls; granddaughters, Amy and Casey Force; sister, Martha Jenkins and brothers, Jesse (Yvonne) Jarvis and Werninger (Bitsy) Jarvis.

Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday in Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 315 Graham Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, Rev. Cary Wadle officiating.

Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. A Military Service will be conducted by American Legion Charles Faust Post 218. Memorials may be made to New Horizons Adult Day Services, c/o Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
