STOW -John William Lehner, Jr., 79, died at his residence September 29, 2009. Mr. Lehner was born in W. Salem, IL and had resided in Stow the past 32 years, moving there from Cuyahoga Falls. He was a self-employed manufacturer's rep for J. W. Lehner Co., was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and had served with the U. S. Coast Guard during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara; children and their spouses, Kathy and Ken Kuzas of Cuyahoga Falls, Scott and Terry Lehner of Stow, Laura and Jess Lehner-Ennis of Hudson, John III and Michelle Lehner of Defiance, OH and Barbara and Rick Roberts of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Mike, Chris and Matt Kuzas, Jeff (Jenni) and Dan Lehner, Will and Sam Ennis, Linden and Jack Lehner and Sarah and Aaron Roberts; brothers, Jim (Julie) Lehner of Atlanta, GA, Bob (Jane) Lehner of Tampa, FL and Joe (Dara) Lehner of Springfield, OH and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday in The First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Internment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. The Family suggests memorials be made to The First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls Gifts and Memorials Fund.
