John Studt

CUYAHOGA FALLS - John F. Studt, 80, passed away February 5, 2015.

John F. Studt was born in Akron, Oh to John and Helen Studt. He graduated from North High School and served in the US Army and worked at Ohio Edison for over 40 years. He was active in the Tadmor Temple where he drove children to the Shriners Hospitals, Wahoo Square Dancers and The First United Methodist Church of Akron.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Marilyn; sons, Doug (Tammy) of Stow and David of Akron: grandsons Caleb and Christian.

The family would like to thank all the care givers of the Community Caregivers of Cuyahoga Falls for their compassionate care and friendship.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday Feb 8 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls and one hour prior to the Funeral Service conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday Feb 9 at First United Methodist Church of Akron, 263 E Mill St, Akron, OH, 44308, Dr. Allan Bevere and Rev. Doug Denton officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 70 W Streetsboro St, Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236 or to First United Methodist Church of Akron. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
