John “Jack” Wesolowski Jr., 75 passed away December 29, 2020. He was born on August 5, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late John and Esther (Stiefvater) Wesolowski. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, John worked for Ohio State Waterproofing for over 40 years. His work was important to him and he fulfilled his goal of “dying with his working boots on”. John spent 53 years happily married to the love of his life, Bonnie. In his free time, he was happy to play the lottery, watch the Steelers play football, smoke cigarettes and was a voracious reader. John truly enjoyed a hearty debate and had a unique outlook on life. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; his three children, Aaron (Jill) Wesolowski, Amanda (Don) Champa, Adam (Karen) Wesolowski of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Alexis Wesolowski, Ryan and Robert Champa and Jacob and Tyler Yelling; as well as his four siblings and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, buy a lottery ticket, you may be lucky!
