CUYAHOGA FALLS - Josephine Rose Wahl (nee Tropeano), 100, passed away February 18, 2015. She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for over 70 years, before moving to Michigan. Josephine worked as Deputy Clerk for the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court for 16 years. She was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church, the LCBA at St. Joseph's and was an avid bowler.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frances of 67 years; and daughter, Marilyn Planting; she is survived by her daughter Jean L. Levens of St. Charles, MI; son, Ron (Linda) Wahl of Cuyahoga Falls; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Calling hours will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday February 27, 2015 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday February 28 at St. Eugene's Catholic Church 1821 Munroe Falls Ave. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
