Joyce Wagner

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Joyce C. Wagner, 86, passed away September 13, 2018.

She was a longtime Kenmore and Norton resident before moving to Cuyahoga Falls. Joyce was a graduate of Kenmore High School and Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing. She worked for Akron City Hospital, Visiting Nurse Service, Children’s Medical Group and Akron Public Schools. Joyce was a volunteer at the Haven of Rest and was a very devoted follower of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husband, Albert; she is survived by her daughters, Christy Kleinhans, Cheryl (Robert) Mains and Alicia (Nick) Veauthier; grandchildren, Nicole (David) Fantelli, Angela Ayan (Ehijele Omoike), Heather (Brian) Barbone, Ashley (Adam) Espinosa, Kyle (Lea) Mains and Aidan Veauthier; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Scott, Michael, Riddyk, Emma, Devan, Aribella, Jillian, Ava and Ainsley.

The family would like to express special thanks to her caregivers at Haven Homes of Stow.

Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Monday September 17, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest 135 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44308. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
