Julia Cox

Julia Vance Cox (Peebles), 56, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 27, 2016 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Julie was born on February 21, 1960 in El Paso, Texas to Nelson (Bob) and Loretta (Rusty) Peebles. Julie truly lived life to the fullest and touched the lives of many. She was a gentle loving soul who made every person dear to her feel loved and significant. The highlight and utmost cherished part of Julie's life was her family.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Bob Peebles. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; children, Nicole (David) Warren, James Cox and Sara Cox; grandchildren, David Akers, Mason Belcher; dear mother, Loretta Mace (Peebles); siblings, Michael (Debbie) Peebles, Kelly (Albert) Leiby), and Robert Peebles; nieces, Kirsten (John) Windle, Raina Leiby and nephew, Kevin Peebles. The family would like to thank the Summa Palliative Care Unit at City Hospital and Debbie McClaskey, RN for their extraordinary efforts.

Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Friday April 1, 2016 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a memorial service will be held at 5 PM that same evening. Family and friends are invited to the Bailey Road Tavern 2920 Bailey Rd. Cuyahoga Falls immediately following the calling hours.
