CUYAHOGA FALLS - Julia Crane (Beahn) nee Stasiak, 89, passed away October 14, 2013. Julia was born in Akron, Ohio on September 9, 1924, grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and had resided in Akron much of her life. She was a resident of Traditions at Bath Road for 14 years where she was nursed by a caring staff. Julia graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1942. She retired from Morse Controls in Hudson after 20 years of service. She was a long time member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. Julia always said that her happiest years were those she spent at home raising her five children. She was a creative soul who loved drawing and painting. She spent many hours reading stories and creating stories for her children. She gave the gift of music, dance, and a love of books to her family and reveled in making others laugh. She loved those years she spent playing lively card games and bowling with her friends. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

Julia was preceded in death by her first husband, Coleman Beahn and second husband, Don Crane; her parents Ben and Celia Stasiak; brother Robert Stasiak and sister Catherine Minter. Julia is survived by her children, Dennis (Kathy) Beahn, Pam (Craig) Marko, Marsha (John) Asente, all from Cuyahoga Falls, Joyce (Ralph) Furmanek, from St. Louis, MO and David Beahn from Columbus, Ohio. Julia loved her fourteen grandchildren and their spouses, and her twenty-two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Julia came from a large family; survived by sisters Dorothy (John) Janovec, Jeannie (Joe) Schlimm, and brothers Thomas Stasiak and James Stasiak.

Family and friends may call Friday, Oct 18 from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct 19 in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N Prospect St, Akron, OH. Rev. David Nevergall officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or Traditions at Bath Road, 300 E Bath Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
