Karen Gorman

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Karen E. Gorman died February 4, 2010 at 64. She is survived by her children; Daniel J. (Misty) Gorman, Frank L. (Becky) Gorman, Theresa M. (Charlie) Nopper, Brian M. (Shelley) Gorman and her 10 grandchildren with one on the way.They filled her with joy all their lives. She was survived by former husband Frank J. (Barbara) Gorman, her brother, Thomas R. (Jody) Bambas and sister, Jeanne Denton-Nelson and their families.
Karen worked 11 years as a Registered Nurse at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, then 11 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor in alcohol and drug treatment at Townhall II in Kent. She found friends and love in her work. In 1996 she was "saved" through best friends Susan and Dick Brown. Jesus made everything better in her life.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. Inurnment will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to Horizon House, 5536 S. Prospect St., Ravenna OH 44266.
