Karen Lawrence

SILVER LAKE - Karen C. Lawrence, 50, passed away August 5, 2009. Karen was born in Key West, FL and had resided in Silver Lake the past 20 years. She had worked in Nursing Informatics at Akron General Medical Center for 13 years and had attended the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

She loved being with her kids and enjoyed the ocean, sailing and anything outdoors. She also enjoyed reading and scrap booking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. Donn and Marian Cobb and is survived by her husband of 21 years, Reggie; children, Ashley and Matthew; sisters, Vicky (Mark) Boehm of Waterford, CT and Jayne Cobb of Bradenton, FL; special friend of the family, Ellen Teeter; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Randy and Linda K. Lawrence, Walter R. and Lynn Lawrence and Tammy and Ronald Armstrong and several nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday and 12:00 till 1:00 pm Saturday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, Rev. J. Ross Slaughter officiating. Interment Tallmadge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Make A Wish 10260 Alliance Rd. Suite 200 Cincinnati, OH 45242.
