Karl Hirt

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Karl Howard Hirt, 61, passed away November 15, 2015.
Karl was born in Akron to Herbert and Ruth (Wise) Hirt and graduated from Streetsboro High School. He has resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 36 years and was employed by Smithers Oasis in Kent. He was a member of the Northeastern Ohio Mustang Club and Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cathy; children, Nathan (Erin) Hirt and Wendi (Jay) Haas; grand-daughter, Mackenzie Morgan Haas; siblings, Evelyn (Don) Huntsman, Richard (Wendy) Hirt, Margaret (Mike) Arbaugh and Warren (Michelle) Hirt and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may call from 4:00 TO 8:00 pm Thursday, November 19 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Friday, November 20 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 5th Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Pastor Keith Johnson officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Akron Children's Hospital, Paul and Carol Davis Foundation Burn Institute, 214 W Bowery St, Akron, OH 44308.
