Kathleen Tandy

STOW - Kathleen Tandy, 87, passed away suddenly January 29, 2015.
Kathleen was born in Summerfield. Ohio to Ernest and Agnes Ritterbeck. She graduated from Summerfield High School and worked at the Roseville Pottery Company. She moved to the Akron area in the late 1950's and has resided in Stow since 1992. She was very active and healthy her entire life. She enjoyed walking her dog Sandy, and working outside in her yard and especially enjoyed holidays and family get-togethers and cook-outs. She has been a member of Holy Family Church since 1992.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Beecher and brother Gilbert (Ruth), she is survived by her children, Daniel (Dalene) of Gainesville, FL, Paul of Cuyahoga Falls, Patricia Burgess of Akron, Marvin (Diane Miller) of Cuyahoga Falls, Jean Songwinds of Pamplico, SC and Stephen (Anna) of Munroe Falls; grandchildren, Jasyn (Kara), Loren (Mike). Megan (Paul), Julia (Chris), Brandon (Lesley), Bradley (Jessica) and Kelly (Ron); great-grandchildren, Elise, Gavin, Mitch, Carter, Pete, Lacey and Max; brothers, Roger and Ralph (Mary) and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday February 2 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday February 3 at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Rd. Stow. Interment Northampton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd.Twinsburg, OH 44087. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
