CUYAHOGA FALLS - Kathryn J. Bako, 92, passed away March 18, 2017.
She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 75 years. Kathryn was a 1943 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School going on to work for Bf Goodrich then the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank. She was very active in the Akron Civic Chorus, the Goodrich Golf League and the Tri County Golf league.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alec and Milica Mitrovich; former husband, Ernest Bako; siblings, Earle Mitrovich, Betty Flanagan, Elmer Mitrovich, Bill Mitrovich, Vi Armen, Gladys Whitehouse, Steve Mitrovich and Michael Mitrovich; she is survived by her daughter, Illona Bako; grandchildren Therese Rowland and Tyler Rowland; siblings, Danilo Mitrovich and Donald (Barbara) Mitrovich; Many nieces and nephews and close friends, Dave and Candace Toris.
Cremation has taken place and the family will be having private services. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
