CUYAHOGA FALLS - Kathy Moore (nee Schoenstein), passed away September 15, 2009. Born June 23, 1932, she passed away after a courageous 4-year battle with several illnesses. She was a life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls. She was a 50-year member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Along with her husband, Ed of 57 years, she was co-owner of Coit Cleaning Services for the past 47 years.
With her husband Ed, she was a co-founder of The Propogation of Divine Mercy of Ohio,
which has since spread into 4 states. She was very devoted to her grandchildren, who always brightened her days.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Dorothy Schoenstein and brother, Jerry (Jean). She is survived by her husband, Ed; daughters Peggy (John) Sax, Lorrie (Mike) Sayer, and Debra (Steve) Arnold; grandchildren, Jill Sax (Tavin Larch), Johny Sax, Jesse Sax (Jessica Besancon), Graham, Leah, and Julianne Arnold; brothers, Bill and Bob; sisters, Mary Ellen, Peggy and Judy; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
We wish to thank Summa Western Reserve Hospital and ICU for the special love and care that comforted her through her pain.
Friends may call Thursday, September 17, from 6-9 pm at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Fr. Thomas McCann, celebrant. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Father McIntire Fund or the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Tr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
