CUYAHOGA FALLS - Kay R. Powers (nee Kidwell), 72, passed away March 31, 2007.
Mrs. Powers was born in Akron and resided her entire life in Cuyahoga Falls . She was a 1952 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School , was the pianist/organist for the Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus for many years and was a member and was the organist at Stow Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles "Jack"; children Daniel Powers of Cuyahoga Falls and Lisa (Bill) Vodney of Cuyahoga Falls; granddaughter Sarah Vodney; sisters Vivian Prpich and Donna; and cousins Nancy Ternoskey, Judy Kidwell and Sonny Kidwell.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 2nd in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St , Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. James Edwards officiating. Final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
