Akron-Keith Stuart Wiley, 64, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home. He was born New Castle, PA November 22, 1958. Keith was a 1977 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School going on to earn an associate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Keith was one of the most well-known influential bass players and iconic front men in Northeast, Ohio. If you ever had the pleasure of watching Keith on stage you would’ve seen how happy it made him to make everyone around have a good time, the local music scene in Akron will never be the same. He played in numerous bands including Harlow, Magestic, Beyond Control, King, the Famous band and many more.
Keith was a fun and very caring guy that was always willing to help anyone in need.
Proceeded in death by his Mother, Constance Brandstetter; his Father, Darl Wiley. He has survived by his Wife, Terri Wiley of 34 years; Stepmom, Sharon Wiley; Brother, Mark Wiley and his Son, Ryan Wiley and Daughter Christine Wiley; Sons, Mikhail “Joe” Wiley (Ashley Gordon), Adam Wiley (Samantha Wiley), Richard “Ricky” Wiley (Alexis Brown), Grandchild Arianna Westfall and also many more friends and family.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 12 PM funeral service on Saturday January 28, 2023 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
