CUYAHOGA FALLS - Kenneth Lee Geffken, 78, passed away March 28, 2009.
Mr. Geffken was born in Akron and served in the Navy during the Korean War and moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 1979. He worked as a roofer for Roofer Workers Local 88, was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and had belonged to the VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 and the American Legion, Charles Faust Post 281.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeanne; daughters Deborah (Greg) Webb of Clinton and Sandra Holderfield of Uniontown; grandchildren, Janelle (Jason) Smith, Nicole (Greg) McMillen, and Christina (Jason) Cheronis; great-grandchildren, Seth McMillen, Bryce McMillen and Christian Cheronis; brother, Marvin Geffken of Cuyahoga Falls; sister Romaine Kaiser of Marshallville and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in Northlawn Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.
