CUYAHOGA FALLS - Brother Settle, age 87 died on October 11, 2008. Born in Union County, Tennessee on January 31, 1921, the son of James and Nora (Pack) Settle, he married Mary A. (Schossler) Settle. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 3rd Division of the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific. A resident of Cuyahoga Falls for over 47 years he was a member of the Natatorium for over 27 years, had retired from Chrysler and was a member of the North Point Apostolic Church in Stow.
Preceded in death by his parents; 10 brothers and sisters; son, Paul and his wife of 40 years on May 22, 1997, Mary, he is survived by his sons, Kenneth W. and Walter (Susan) both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren James, Jack and Sarah and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and countless friends.
