Larry J. Hoffman

Akron- Larry Hoffman, 75, left us suddenly on May 13, 2022. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his buddies, going to the casino with his wife and daughter. Most of all he loved his family. All who knew Larry knew how much he hated Jo-Jo’s.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; He is survived by his daughter, Amy Taylor; grandchildren, Sarah (Luke) and Jordan (Mark); brothers-in-law, Tom Knapp of Oklahoma; Tony (Michelle) Knapp of Georgia; and many other loving family members. His Polish American Club family and special friends, Donny Trego, Chuck Smith, Jimmy Johnson, Dave Hickey and his favorite bartender Casey Hanes, and his work family at Menards.

He was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Per his request there will be no calling hours, we will be having a celebration of life at the Polish American Club 472 East Glenwood Ave. (access off of Dan St.) Saturday June 4, 2022 from 1-4 PM. All are welcome to come celebrate Larry’s life.  Funeral arrangments have been entrusted to the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home.
