CUYAHOGA FALLS - Laura Vucetic Munn, 90 passed away February 18, 2011.

Mrs. Munn was born in Rossville, Georgia, and was the first female to volunteer for service after the start of WWII from Orange, VA. During the war she tested Army tanks and equipment and test drove Harley-Davidson motorcycles. She was married in her KP uniform to Thomas Vucetic, yodeled and played guitar, and hambone while in the Army. She got her degree as a beautician and was self employed in Laura's Beauty Shop in her own home. She was a school crossing guard, volunteered at Fallsview and was a member of Celebration Church where she was active in many church functions.

Preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Vucetic and daughter Judy Vucetic, she is survived by her husband Harry Roger Munn; daughters Shirley Fowler of Akron and Nancy Jacob of Maine: grandchildren Dustin Harlow Fowler, Jay Raymond Fowler and Kaleb (Amy) Jacob; great grandchildren Cambria Fowler Scarbough, Reagan Elizabeth Jacob and Grant Hunter Jacob and sister Janie Darnell of Florence, VA.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St , Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jeff Wade officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery . Memorials may be made to Celebration Church Akron Outreach, 688 Dan Street , Akron , Ohio 44310 .
