CUYAHOGA FALLS - Lawrence R. Babcock, Jr., 46 passed away January 23, 2016.

Larry passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 23 after a strong and courageous fight against cancer.

Larry was born on February 2, 1969 in Akron. Oh. He worked for Summit County Sewer Dept. He also worked for The Home Depot in Cuyahoga Falls where he was loved very much. Larry really enjoyed being a father. He loved watching his children play sports and teaching his daughter how to fish.

Larry was admired for his work ethic and his ability to fix anything. He would help out anyone in need whether it was a family member or a complete stranger. Larry loved the Steelers and NASCAR, visiting West Virginia, camping and being outdoors. Mini golf was not his strongest suit, but he provided entertainment for those who had the opportunity to putt-putt with him. He loved to put a smile on people's faces.

Preceded in death by his mother, Sandra, he leaves behind his sons. John and Steven, daughter, Hope, their mother, Anne; his father, Lawrence, Sr.; sister, Lori Riley and girlfriend, Linda Lambert.

At his request cremation has taken place, friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, Minister Jason Betts officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to his children c/o Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
