Lawrence Knapp

Lawrence E. Knapp, 73, passed away October 1, 2007. Mr. Knapp was born in Akron where he had resided the past 38 years. He retired in 1991 from B. F. Goodrich with 43 years service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet "Mary" and daughter, Karen Knapp and is survived by his sons, Thomas, Michael and James and daughters, Laura (Randy) Alderman, Susan (Jim) Spangler, Victoria (Craig) Brechbuhler and Christine (Mark) Litteral; grandchildren, Connor, Landon and Shelba Alderman, Rebecca and Cora Spangler, Elise and Chad Brechbuhler and Chet Litteral and brother and sisters, Patricia (Jacob) Pfeiffer, Robert (Eleanor) Knapp and Janet (Andy) Horning.

The Family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Heather Knoll Nursing Home and Amy and Alta at Crossroads Hospice for their exceptional care and concern.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary.
