AKRON - Lela M. Dodrill, 80, passed away September 29, 2015. She was born in Kimberly, WV and graduated from Richwood High School. Lela met and married Leslie when he came to work for her father's coal mine. They then moved to Akron and resided there for 61 years. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and granddog "Miss Yoder".
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leslie; she is survived by her daughter, Diana Dodrill. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Falls Village Retirement Home for many years of great care.
Friends may call one hour prior to a 1 PM funeral service on Friday October 2, 2015 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Interment Hillside Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH, 44087. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
