Leo Main

BATH-Leo L. Main, 93, passed away January 5, 2014. He was born in Akron and resided in Bath for most of his life. Mr. Main served in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he earned a Purple Heart, going on to retire from McNeil Akron. He was a founding member of the Bath volunteer police dept. and enjoyed wood working.

Preceded by his wife of 54 years, Marjorie; He is survived by children, Darlene (Bob) Gemind, Jim (Ruth) Main and Terry (Randy) Bowers; grandchildren, Margie (Carl), Debbie (Clark), Sandi, Cheri (Bill), Mike, Andy, Jeremy (Nicole), Nathan (Michelle) and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday January 10, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday January 11. Rev. Marvin Brown will be officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorial may be to AMVETS Post 176 3944 Wheatley Rd. Richfield, OH, 44286.
