CUYAHOGA FALLS - Leon J. Rumschlag, 87, passed away January 19, 2017.

He was a lifelong area resident. Leon worked as a mechanic for Lawson's and Peterbilt. He was a Free Mason and a founding member and past president of the Greater Akron Motorcycle Club. Leon loved racing midget race cars and riding his motorcycles with his buddies.

Preceded in death by wives, Carla Jean and Colleen; brother, Leonard (Helen) Rumschlag and Nancy Jameson; he is survived by his children, Tracy (Aimee) Rumschlag, Troy Rumschlag, Kelly (Jim) Cavanaugh and David (Sue) Waskowski; grandchildren, Sean and Kevin Cavanaugh, Derek and Danielle Waskowski and Aaron Rumschlag; siblings, Gary (Annette) Heiser and Kathy Beach.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Monday January 23rd 2017 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday January 24th. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
