Lloyd Hess, Jr

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Lloyd D. Hess, Jr, 92, passed away July 26, 2006. Mr. Hess was born in Chicago and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 64 years. He had worked as a research chemist for Goodyear Tire and Rubber and previously worked for Kankakee Ordinance Works in Joliet, IL. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, the American Chemical Society, the Summit Lapidary Club and the Cuyahoga Valley Archaeological Society.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Stephen and Nancy Hess of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie (Charles) Sexton and Elizabeth and Douglas Hess; Great-grandson, Mason Sexton; daughters, Kathleen S. Hess of Cuyahoga Falls and Deborah K. Hess of Bloomington, IN and sisters, Loraine Penkul of Ft. Wayne, IN and Geraldine Ulrey of Clinton, AR.
There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday in The First United Methodist Church Chapel of Good Shepard 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
