Lois Ostlund

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Lois Pauline Ostlund, 74, died March 16, 2010. Mrs. Ostlund was born in Cuyahoga Falls where she had resided her entire life. She was a big bingo fan, enjoyed playing the lottery, loved decorating for holidays and country music and cherished her time with her grandchildren and all her friends at Drugmart.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and George Van Buskirk and sisters, Peg Leak, Ruth McClelland and Jean Renner, she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Oscar L. "Bud"; children and their spouses, Jeanette Kremer (William) of Brimfield, Robert Ostlund (Terry), John Ostlund (Cindy), Shelley Ely (Richard) and Scott Ostlund (Joanne), all of Cuyahoga Falls; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Kate Henry, Mary Scheer, Chuck Van Buskirk, George Van Buskirk, Maxine Smith, Nancy Mehler, Joann Thompson, Patricia Collopy, James Van Buskirk, Thomas Van Buskirk, Gerold Van Buskirk, Susan Elzholz and Donald Van Buskirk and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from at 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday, Dr. Richard A. Hasler officiating. Cremation will follow. Future resting place Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Falls Firefighters and Community Society, P. O.
