Lois Elaine Plesich

Lois Elaine Plesich, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 31, 2023. She was born on September 11, 1946, in Weirton, WV. She graduated from the University of Akron and worked for 20+ years as a social worker for Akron Children’s Services. Her five sons and grandchildren were truly the light of her life and her biggest joy. Lois dedicated her life to her children and helping children in need. She loved being by the water, boating, gardening, traveling and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She lived her life to the fullest and loved with her full heart. She left us with beautiful memories, her love is still our guide, although we cannot see her, she’s always at our side.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Wudarsky.

She will be deeply missed by her five sons; Mark Plesich, Matthew (Lisa) Plesich, Luke “Joe” (Julie) Plesich, Ivan (Ashley) Plesich and Stephen (Ravyn) Plesich; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory, Becky, Mason, Alaina, Parker, Ivan Jr, Evelyn, Ella & Hayden; her partner of 17 years William Shirley; brothers, Frank (Donna) Wudarsky & Ron (Don) Wudarsky and sister,  Geri Hauser; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

In lieu of flowers and other memorials donations may be made to the Akron Ronald McDonald House.

There will be a visitation from 4pm to 6pm on Friday, June 9^th, 2023, at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held Immediately following the visitation at 6pm.
