Lois K. Robinson, 84, passed away May 15, 2009.
Born in Connellsville , Pennsylvania to James and Sylvia Kennison, she was the last survivor of 9 children. Lois lived in Akron for over 60 years, coming from Steubenville , Ohio . She was a homemaker, a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, a 50 year member of Falls Chapter #245, O.E.S., and was a former member of the Advisory Board to Akron Assembly #15, Order of the Rainbow for Girls, where she received the Grand Cross of Color. Lois was an avid quilter and along with her husband, enjoyed making Christmas cookies for family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 1992, she is survived by her son, Arthur (Joan) Robinson II; granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth; brother-in-law John Monroe of Mingo Junction; and numerous nieces and nephews around the country.
The family will receive friends at Grandview United Methodist Church, 2315 Phelps Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 19, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Father Jeffery M. Richards officiating. Falls Chapter #245 will conduct Eastern Star Services at 5:00 p.m. Entombment in Northlawn Memorial Gardens' Mausoleum Wednesday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to your favorite charity in her memory.
