Loren Zickefoose

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Heaven opened the Gates for Loren N. Zickefoose "Zig", 77, on November 5, 2008. Loren was born on July 24th, 1931 in Hemlock, WV and lived his entire life in the Akron area. He served his country in the Korean War as a member of the U. S. Navy. He retired from Goodyear after 25 years service and also retired from Tallmadge Spinning Metal after working 15 years. Loren was very proud to have 25 years sobriety under his belt and met many of his supporting friends though the program.

Loren was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Glen, his parents, Charles M. and Alcinda and is survived by his 3 sons, Allen (Ginger), Eddie (Sherry) and William (Sarah), his 4 daughters, Debbie (Greg), Mary Jane (Al), Cindy (Chris) and Lora (Mark); 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 5:00 pm Saturday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where friends may call beginning at 3:00 pm Saturday. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
