Lorraine Francis

Cuyahoga Falls- Lorraine J. (Freund) Francis, 84, passed away September 26, 2011 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Francis was born in Kittanning, PA and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 52 years, moving here from Meadville, PA. She had worked for Montgomery Ward and later ODOT in Ravenna and was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church and a life member of Meadville Chapter 4983 OES.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Robert E. Freund and Marvin A. Francis and son, Steve Freund, she is survived by her children, John E. and Anne Freund of Cuyahoga Falls, Cynthia Kaderle of Stow and Gregory Francis of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter-in-law, Penny Freund of Pt. Orange, FL; grandchildren, Terri (John) Sterling, Tami (Rod) Bragg, Robert, Robert (Stormi), Gretchen, Nathan, Jake and Nick Freund, Robert (Susan) and Philip Kaderle and Jessica, Madelyn, Caleb, Seth, Emma and Grace Francis; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Joan (Don) Bundy and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Monday, Oct. 3 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, Oct. 3, Rev. Douglas E. Fidler officiating. Final resting place Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to ALS Assoc, Northern Ohio Chapter, Team Gretchen, 2500 E. 22nd St. Suite 102, Cleveland, OH 44115.
