CUYAHOGA FALLS - Louis J. Loftus, 31, died March 27, 2018.
Louis was born in Akron and lived in Cuyahoga Falls and Stow most of his life. Sergeant Loftus served honorably in the United States Army for four years, from 2006 to 2010, as an Airborne Infantry Paratrooper. He served two combat tours in Afghanistan, serving with the 82nd Airborne and the 173rd Airborne. He loved being a father, was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and loved to play golf.
Preceded in death by grandfather James, he is survived by his father Louis, mother Cathleen, mother of his children Deidra, sons Mason and Nolan, brothers David and Mike Loftus, grandmother Lynn Loftus, grandparents Rosemary and Ted Major, aunts Leigh, Marianne, Susan, Jessica, uncles Ted, Jim, Tim, all the cousins he loved, and best friends Keith Van Buskirk and Ryan Yesberger.
Visitation will be held at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls OH on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 2 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
