Louise Seikel

Tallmadge- Louise Seikel (nee Bertsch), 86, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side. Louise was born in Akron and resided in Tallmadge for the past 17 years and in Cuyahoga Falls for 49 years. She was a very active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and School. Louise worked as a secretary at IHM School and as office manager for Dr. Waickman. She volunteered for the Ministry of Needy, the Mother Monitor Program, the Homeless Meal Program and cooked and organized meals for the priests. Louise was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul Anthony and Barbara Bertsch; husband, Paul J. and daughter, Cindy Seikel; she is survived by her children, Terry (Gale) Seikel of Hilton Head Island, Mimi (Jeff) Berghoff of Stow and Mike (Laura) Seikel of Huron, OH; grandchildren, Jason, Josh, Jackie Ann, Brian, Chris, Cara, Jeffrey, Jackie Marie, Joe and Dan; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul A. (Marianne), Jim (Phyllis) and Bob (Bev) Bertsch; and sister, Barb (Pat) Neman.

Memorial calling will be held 1 hour prior to a 12 PM Mass of Christian Burial on Friday September 2, 2022 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
