Margaret Burks

SILVER LAKE - Margaret V. Burks, 86, passed away November 29, 2013. Mrs. Burks was born in Jackson, TN and had resided in Silver Lake for 45 years. She was a homemaker, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Akron and loved her bridge clubs.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M.; parents, L.L. and Margaret Pearson; brother Robert "Buddy" Pearson and sister, Dorothy Pearson Harvey, she is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Kim) Nagle of Winnetka, IL and Debbie Burks of Jackson Twp. OH; grandchildren, Zach and Dillon Nagle and Sam Bormet and sisters, Mary Ruth Hundley, Anne Ross and Nancy Jane Earnest.

There will be no local services. Services and inurnment will take place in Jackson, TN. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 70 West Streetsboro St. Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236.
