Margaret Kerek

SILVER LAKE - Margaret Kerek, 90, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 21, 2014. She was born in Whitsett, PA and resided in Silver Lake for the past 42 years. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Columbus Coated Fabrics going on to be co-owner of Colonial Pharmacy in Bath for 30 years. She enjoyed walking, reading, spelling bees, bowling, softball, basketball, watching old Turner Classic Movies, Ohio State Buckeyes, and most of all spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William; She is survived by her children, Dr. William (Laura) Kerek, Robert (Jill) Kerek, Patricia Kerek and Kenneth (Kathy) Kerek; grandchildren, Colin, Alyssa, Halley, Andrew, Zachary, Brian, Chelsea, Daniel, Jacob, Joshua, Shawn, Rachel, Caitlin, Mary Beth, William, David, Susan and Emily; brother, John (Fay) Reshan and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to her daughter, Patricia, daughter-in-law, Laura, Deborah Miller, Tina Walton, Mary Sharrard, Colin, Alyssa and the staff of Crossroads Hospice for ongoing care over the past 13 years.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday September 24, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday September 25. Pastor Steve Kimbrel will be officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
