Margaret Leafgren

Cuyahoga Falls- Margaret Leafgren, 89, passed away March 16, 2022. She was born in Akron to the late Angus and Jeanne McNair. Margaret was a graduate of East High School going on to earn a degree from Idabelle Firestone Akron City Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as an RN at Akron General.

Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John and Angus McNair; husbands, Don Fruth and Ronald Leafgren; and son, Richard Fruth; she is survived by her children, Lynne (Larry) Hamrick and Robert (Sheila) Fruth; grandchildren, David Tannehill, Andrew (Natalie) Tannehill, Robert (Korina) Fruth, Casey (Danny) Howie and Jasmine, Victoria and Savanna Lewis; 5 great-grandchildren, brother, William McNair; and sister, Catherine (Pete) Peterson.  

Visitation will be held from noon until a 2 PM memorial service on April 16, 2022 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
