Margaret "Peg" Davis

Margaret “Peg” M. Davis (Pepe) 88, passed away March 30, 2024. Born April 9, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late Vincenzo and Arcangela Pepe. Her parents immigrated from Italy in the early 1900’s raising a family of seven children. Peg lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio nearly her entire life, attending Cuyahoga Falls High School where she met her husband, Bill. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and attended mass regularly.

Peg worked in the Cuyahoga Falls school system as a teacher’s aide for 29 years and was happy going to work every day to be with her students and co-workers. She was an avid gardener, loved her flowers and looked forward to the renewal of springtime each year. Peg enjoyed crocheting and knitting, making hats donated to hospitals for premature newborns as well as making blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was happiest when her family was together, especially during the holidays. She loved cooking favorite dishes and keeping up family traditions.

Preceded in death by her parents, Vincenzo and Arcangela Pepe; siblings Joseph Pepe, Vic Pepe, Lena Johnson, Michael Pepe, Vincent Pepe and husband William (Bill).
 
She is survived by her sister Jean Ramey (Bob), daughter Marie, son Bill Jr. (Peggy), along with four grandchildren; Patrick Davis, Lindsey Riffe (Ted), Chelsea Courter, Olivia Schlabach (Greg) and six greatgrandchildren; Gabrielle Courter, Bridget Riffe, Brynne Riffe, Betty Riffe, Cameron Davis and Morgan Davis.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to a 12-noon funeral service on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
