Marguerite Gerstenslager

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Marguerite "Connie" Gerstenslager, 88, passed away August 31, 2016. She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls.

Connie graduated from North High School going on to attend the University of Akron later in life. She worked as a secretary at General Tire, where she modeled in some of the ads. Connie was very active at Suttliff I, where she served as the secretary, treasurer and was involved in many of the events and activities. She loved spending the holidays with her family, spoiling her grandchildren with Christmas presents and Easter baskets. Connie truly enjoyed spending time with her Suttliff I and card group friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Corrine Krell; brother, Alfred Krell and sister, Josephine Fultz; she is survived by her children, Kristine Koza, Norman (Linda) and Gary; step-children, Jim, Nelson, and Naomi; grandchildren, Brian, Brent, Jessica, Kristen, Darren and Bradley; 7 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call one hour prior to an 11 AM service on Saturday September 3, 2016 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Inurnment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
