CUYAHOGA FALLS -Marian L. Hinkle, 90, went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2005. Mrs. Hinkle was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She retired in 1981 from Lawson Milk Co. having worked in cash control and had previously worked for General Tire and Rubber. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Cuyahoga Falls Chapter 245 OES, Akron Federation of Women Club, Tallmadge Home and Garden Club and Tallmadge AARP Chapter 2585.

Preceded in death by her first husband, William Lingo in 1964 and her second husband, James Hinkle in 1989; son, William C. Lingo; sister, Ruth Smith; brother, William Motz; and 1 great-great-grandchild; she is survived by her daughter, Susan (Henry) Wengerd of Akron; step-daughters, Judy (Freddie) Anderson of Caldwell, Nancy (Ron) Frame of Loudonville, Carolyn (Carmen) Copeland of East Canton and Marilyn (Myron) Miller of Navarre; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Jean Williams of Akron and Mildred Wallace of Barberton; brother, Eldon Motz of Cuyahoga Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 NOON Saturday in Bethany United Church of Christ, 1235 Broad Blvd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. Stephen Gehlert officiating. Friends may also call at church for one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to Bethany United Church of Christ.
