Marian Rathbun

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Marian J. Rathbun, 97, passed away October 31, 2015. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was affectionately known as grandma to all. Born in Akron, she was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls most of her life and a member of the First Christian Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Earl; parents, William and Madeline Morgan; brother, James Morgan and sister, Margaret McElhaney she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Philip and Cheryl, William and Patricia and Thomas and Pamela; grandchildren, James, Kelly, Amy, Tracy, Kristine, Susan, Nicole and Kelsey and 16 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Deborah Saxe officiating and where friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 2253 3rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 or Crossroads Hospice of Northeast Ohio, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E.
