Marie Powell Burns, born April 24, 1913 went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2004.
Marie was born in Evansville, Indiana, was preceded in death by her brother Harold Eugene Powell; sisters Thelma Jones and Cecilia Hostrup and is survived by loving sons Robert Eugene (Donna J.) of Green, Richard Kyle (Donna M.) of Tallmadge and daughter Carolyn Marie (Thomas T.) Blabac of Akron. She will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A private Funeral Service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
