Marilyn Clifford

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Marilyn E. Clifford, 91, died May 3, 2018. Marilyn was born in Stow and resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She was an active member for 67 years of the Presidential Park Gardeners and Akron Garden Forum. She was a previous member of Ikebana Garden Club. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of Stow High School and attended Kent State University. She had a great passion for ballroom dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Jack B. James and Charles P. Clifford; and her parents Francis and Gladys Cox and sister Jeannie Cox; survived by her children, Craig (Beth) James, Lou Ann (Brian) Lambert, and Todd James; grandchildren; Brian "Cory" Lambert (Laura), Matthew Lambert, Larissa (Donnie) Moore, Christine Jarrett, and Joseph James; great-grandchildren Annalise and Ava Leigh Moore.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Friends may call on Monday, May 7 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Alter Care of Brimfield,1463 Tallmadge Rd, Kent, OH 44240. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the staff of Alter Care.
