Marjorie Housley

Cuyahoga Falls - Marjorie E. Housley, 78, passed away August 23, 2013. Mrs. Housley was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 50 years. She had worked as a clerk at Zayre's Department Store and had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, James E.; daughter, Nancy Williams; grandson, Jimmy Williams; brother, Bill (Catherine) Hanna; she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James Michael and Bonnie Housley of Cuyahoga Falls and David and Kris Housley of Norton; grandchildren, Elaine (Matthew) Searer, Jennifer (Justin) Collier, Jamie Housley, Matthew Housley, Angel Housley, Tony Housley and Bryanna Housley; great-grandchildren, Billy, Johnny, Jillian and Jimmy; sister, June Gusbar of Tampa, FL and brother, Richard (Janet) Hanna of Smithville.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, August 31 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Rotary Camp 4460 Rex Lake Dr. Akron, OH, 44319. Arrangements entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
