Marjorie Louise Vaught

Marjorie Louise Vaught, 89, went to be home with her Lord and Savior on November 28, 2024. She was born in Kentucky to the late Robert and Lula Taylor. Margie then moved to Akron, OH, before marrying and moving to Canal Fulton to raise her family. Prior to deciding to stay at home to raise her family she spent 10 years working for Firestone Bank. She was a faithful member of the Akron Baptist Temple, where she sang in the choir for 63 years, and loved gospel music. She will be dearly missed by her kids, Mark and Tammy Vaught, Joy and Brent Malone. 

 Her children and her grandchildren were her biggest joys in life. 

 Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William R. Vaught; siblings, Wayne Pickens, James Pickens, Caroline Richmond and Sue Smith; brother-in-law Raymond Vaught; she is survived by her children, Mark and Tammy Vaught, Joy and Brent Malone, Mike and Vanessa Vaught and Lesa and Matt Evans; grandchildren, Samantha (John), Mark Jr. (Sam), Nicole (Ryan), Travis, Stephanie, Chad, Lyndsey, Mahlee, Tara and Brandon; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold and Cindy Pickens and David and Darlene Pickens; grand dogs, Barley, Bella Malone and Rico and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
