Martha M Johnson

Martha M. Johnson died on April 28^th, 2024 at age 93 after a short illness. She was born in Oil City, PA to Paul and Jean Snyder Stormer and lived most of her adult life in the Akron OH area.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Richard G. Perrine and Joseph P. Johnson; Sisters Margaret Exley and Virginia Wigley.

She is survived by children: Janet (John) Perrine Tartara, Youngstown, OH; Penny Johnson, Akron, OH; Paul (Sue) T. Perrine, Killeen, TX; Elizabeth “Betsi” (Michael) Perrine Konic, Kent, OH; Melinda “Mindy” Johnson Gallaher, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces.

She was a 40 year active member of North Hill United Methodist Church and is a current member of First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. Martha was a skilled seamstress and was also previously employed by First National Bank of Akron and North Hill UMC.

Following cremation she will be interred at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg OH. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to The Humane Society or animal shelter of your choosing.
